The Story Behind Aleksandra Ink

I've always been drawn to artwork that feels personal. The kind that carries a memory, a feeling, or a story someone wants to hold onto. Long before I started working on commissions, I spent most of my time drawing, painting, and exploring ideas through art.

What started as sketchbooks and small experiments slowly turned into a deeper interest in symbolism, storytelling, and meaningful illustration. That same approach still shapes the work I create today.

Over time I explored different mediums and creative projects. Illustration became the place where everything connected naturally. I was especially drawn to artwork built around atmosphere, symbolism, folklore, literature, and nature.

Those influences still shape my work today, especially in custom tattoo design, ex libris illustration, and personal commissions where meaning matters as much as the final image itself.

One of the things I value most about custom artwork is the process behind it. The conversations, ideas, references, and small details all shape the final piece. That is often what makes personal illustration feel different from something chosen quickly online.

I enjoy creating artwork that feels connected to the person behind it, whether it becomes a tattoo design, a bookplate, or an illustration created for a meaningful moment in someone's life.
